Miniature Ball Bearing
Miniature ball bearings are small, precision ball bearings with a variety of uses, including in medical devices, robotics, and semiconductor equipment.
These bearings have an outer diameter of less than 3/8 in (9.525 mm) or less than or equal to 1/2 in (12.7 mm) with a ratio of outside diameter to inside diameter less than or equal to two. Designed for high-speed rotation, low noise, and low vibration, miniature ball bearings can be open or sealed, with grease, and with retaining rings.
They are commonly used in medical devices for surgical tools and dental drills, robotics for small robotic joints and actuators, and semiconductor equipment to reduce friction between moving parts. Miniature ball bearings can be sealed with shields or rubber seals to maintain lubrication and prevent dust entry.
